The Working Artist is the place where we’ll be spending time talking about what’s going on with the WorkingArtist system, its present and future.  We’ll also take some time to talk about the life and times of being a working artist.  My own areas of expertise (such as they are) are in photography and ceramics; I’ll talk a bit about those as well from time to time.

Ron Gafron is the new developer and chief cook and bottle washer for WorkingArtist.  Ron has over 30 years of experience in computer technology, and has worked in every computer-related job from computer operator to chief technology officer.  Along the way, he’s also been a professional nature photographer.  More recently, Ron has taken a liking to gooping around in clay.

Kathryn Townsend is the original developer of WorkingArtist.  She lately decided that it was time to get back to her artwork (for all to see at www.kathryntownsend.com, and is presently working with Ron as he takes over the day to day responsibilities of developing new capabilities for WorkingArtist as well as running the business itself.

An update……Kathryn and I completed the transition of WorkingArtist to me during the fall (2009). So, from now on, it’s my fault, er, my baby.
